KJLU, a radio station in Jefferson City, Missouri reports "teacher accused of having sexual relationship with student".
So far, no law breaking, the student might be 26 years old, so a consenting adult, no rape allegation yet. A valid argument might be that the teacher should be fired. OK, fine. Let's move on.
"...and a [...] man is accused of helping cover up the relationship."
Accused? "Cover up" must be of a crime, otherwise there is nothing to cover up. And "relationship"? Is this the journalist's formulation? Is she sick in her head? Or maybe the student is indeed an adult. We still don't know...
"[The teacher], 26, of Waynesville, is charged with second-degree statutory rape, sexual contact with a student, fourth-degree child molestation, and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child."
Oh, a child!!! This is really bad! This is awful! I hope he goes to prison for a decade or so. Fourth degree molestation? Is this worse than a first degree? I know first degree murder is the worst degree, is that the same for molestation? Fourth....... I want to know more.
"...a confidential witness came forward last month to report that [...] the victim told them they had scratches on their back after having sex with [the teacher] in a driveway."
Oh... so..., wait, what? THEY had scratches?? Who? The victim told what, to whom? Who is "them", the witness AND the teacher? Why would the child(ren) tell the teacher they had scratches? Isn't the teacher the one scratching them? How many victims had sex with the teacher? Were they ALL children? Was it at the same time, or the teacher was scratching all his victims one at a time?
"Another witness reported that [the teacher] had used other students as lookouts while having sex with the victim at school."
Oh, God! This is really sick!!! And those students just stood there and did nothing? OK, so, wait... the victim! Not plural, so only one victim? This is really demanding, is this an intelligence test? Too hard for me, I need pictures. Fortunately KJLU provides one:
